    In response to TA's post.........

    IME over a 5 + year period the image you posted is true.

    Better quality batteries, better integration, better reliability so you can do more with less downtime (none in my case with a 8 yo macbook hooked up to a 5+ yo iPhone 4s (that has had a new battery for $40).

    My RRC is a workhorse 'tool', very reliable and cheap to run. All the hardware I have is nice in the fact that I can just go and use it without some some stupid grief.

    No one I know using other computer brands could say that they've never had to get outside help at least once to get their thing running properly after drama.

    Maybe I'm lucky, but I'll just stick with what actually has worked well for me.
