I don't need to go to a racetrack to hear those sounds - just got to go out onto my balcony after about 10pm and can hear it all as the street racers race around the streets dodging the speed humps.

I am actually surprised Clive lost that last case - afterall to pass legislation to prevent individuals from suing the WA government (irrespective of the reason) is a mighty step in the wrong direction.
The govt should be able to be sued and it is up to the courts to determine firstly if a prima facia case exists and then to test the merits of the claims - that $30b claim should have been tested by a court and ideally thrown out but now that a precedent has been set and upheld what else will the WA govt not be able to sued for?
