When was younger and peoples habits were different I used to have an arrangement with the local petrol stations. This being back in the day when they used to do car repairs not just sell fuel. When they did an engine rebuild there were pistons going in the bin. They would save them for me. Would clean them up and then put them on the lathe at school to make ashtrays. There was a ready market for them and all were sold as soon as finished
We used to get the used ball bearings from the local garage, usually out of the bin out the back, after hours
Break them open using the old mans vice, cold chisel and hammer in the garage at home.
Then the balls ended their life in the pouch of a slingshot.[thumbsupbig]
We grew up with several loquat trees close by. We used to raid them and eat the fruit but dry the seed pods on the hot pumpshed roof. That tight dried cluster of seeds would form a solid lump. We'd use those in our shanghai and if rolled around a bit before shooting, they'd break open mid flight and have a good spread at the target.
You are all delinquents!!
Should of all been at home studying & doing useful things with your lives.
No wonder the world is going to HELL.:firedevil:
