Ooooohhhh Dear. I would have given my left tit to purloin a set of four Ballrace Bearings for my BitZa, instead I had to contend with old Pram wheels from the Pughole Dump which were usually buggered or they wouldn't have been there in the first place.


There certainly was no need for Micro metric fit stub axles, we just hammered them on to wooden axles to fit. Alignment & Toe In? What alignment & Toe In is that then???


Not sure if the ball bearing jobs were any faster or they just sounded like that on bitumen surfaces but by **** they impressed the sheilas but not exactly what you'd need for a "Stealth" BitZa even if you painted the whole shebang black matt.

I think I know how that feels but not necessarily weather connected.




Btw, the lack of care for that product seems a bit stupid by the business as at the very least they should have been taken off the shelves much earlier & placed on the floor which I have assumed nowadays as probably Terrazzo or concrete. Temps increasing? You place them in a Coolroom/Storeroom or place wet Bags/Blankets over the stack with a plastic sheet in between.


When the heat disappears they'll be heat affected (turned white) & probably be given or thrown away.


"Ah but the customer can't see them to purchase". Tough, they want to eat melted Chocolate in a 31c temp? Then they are idiots.


They'll probably expect a Credit from the Distributor & who pays for that, we all do wherever Cadburys is sold.?

A friend of mine built a miniture (about 600mm long) black powder cannon & was wondering what he could use as a readily available projectile. He ended up machining the barrel to take golf balls & found them to be very suitable.
He used to fire them into his rural neighbour's garden about 600m away & his son would recover them when he was looking after the neighbour's garden!

Sounds a bit like the spud gun my sons fabricated quite a few years ago,about 20 years at a guess.
They definitely didn’t go 600 meters,maybe 200 at the most,down a big hill.
But gee it made some noise.
A mate at school had one and showed them how to build it.
I think they used lighter fumes to propel the spuds,can’t quite remember,seniors disease is catching up to me.

I do remember their mother confiscated it,and destroyed it,the kids thought that it was the end of the world.
