    Exactly, and a pulsating diesel at idle is the worst.

    First time I saw this was one afternoon at Torquay, rec fisher with a pretty new Lux was sitting there in the drink burbling away, incoming tide already up to the door handles.

    Two pro cray fishers couldn't pull him out with their two big tractors working together. It took a big heavy haulage tow truck to get it out that night.

    Just a little trick, when recovering trailer boats from the beach. When the boat is secured and you're ready to drive out, just reverse a foot, or so and then drive out. It does make a difference!
