Picked it up on friday, what a difference from the D2, it is an unbelievable car to drive, smooth, floats over the road, effortless power, extremely quiet.
Now I cant wait to see what it can do off road.
Couple of questions for the experienced D3 owners:
Is ETC included in the Terrain Response settings? I can't see any reference to it in the manual.
The only other thing that I wanted was the electronicall controlled rear diff, is it available as an after market accessory? The dealer couldn't find it as such bu appeared vague. I'll probably have to email LRA.

Hi Richard,
The Active Rear Diff is not available as an accessory as far as I know. Must be ordered with the vehicle. (That's why I had to wait 5 months for mine, plenty of TDV6 SE's around, but none in stock with the Active Rear Diff) May be an aftermarket model available, but this wouldn't be connected to the Terrain Response system I should imagine.
Yes, the terrain response system controls the ETC.
The ETC seems to work very differently depending on the TR setting chosen.
Still a fantastic vehicle after the D2.
