My GP puts me on Nexium when I need to take pain relief that has the potential to upset the stomach.

I too use Meloxicam and take it for arthritic pain:- it is a very effective medication. A note of caution though is to always take Meloxicam with food or it will likely cause stomach problems and probably/possibly burn a hole in your stomach lining. I have never experienced any negatives from using it

Our Blue Heeler has an arthritic hip, he takes Meloxicam makes a massive difference.
You would not think he has any arthritis at all when he takes it. The difference is amazing.
