I could,....depending upon the circumstances, not in every case mind you, but in this case I could, which AFAIAC is what this arsehole deserves, rather than a taxpayer funded life of luxury, three meals a day, his own room, a warm bed, computer,.....ra ra ra. which this oxygen thief does not deserve.

The best way to fix bail laws I think is if a bail justice or judge gives bail to a violent offender then they should be held responsible for that persons actions after bail until that person faces court. I suspect not many would get bail our pollies are weak always have been I tend to agree with Tobie this person is feral to the bone and should be treated as such. The police are restricted by there political masters and do gooders who believe there is good in every one some people are just evil .

What worries you most Pickles? The fact that he's a dangerous loony arsehole or the fact that he might get something for nothing at your expense?
What about all the people who are far more likely to harm you? Are you going to go and snot them too.
It's going to cost you a lot for ammo if you take out all the disqualified drivers, and that's just the start.
    Cheers, Billy.

Imagine if after this bloke stabbed his brother, and before he got in the car he was shot.
'Typical police brutality, why didn't they just shoot him in the legs'
'He only had a knife, why didn't they just tackle him?'
We either allow our police to employ controlled aggression and stand by them in such instances, or we don't and we accept the consequences
Not correct. It was our last female commisioer who decided that it is no longer a police FORCE.

Her mantra was "keep the peace, not uphold the law" Ever since then our force has gone down the drain.

She even lowered the entrance standards so more females could get in.
I have no problems with chick cops, what I have a problem with is lowering the standard to get more in.

This is why the name change to Vicpol. Most people in Vic, apart from the looney left, would prefer for our police to be a force and chase where necessary.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I shouldn't have to answer this question, in view of what has happened here,....so I won't.

Correct, the worst "Commissioner" ever,.....and If she'd had to pass a fitness test, she could not have got the job......she disbanded the successful & well regarded armed robbery squad, transferred experienced cops, 'cause they didn't "fit in".
Not too many Police had anything good to say about her.

I'm sorry but I'm not aware of anything that has happened here that would prevent you from answering. If you don't want to answer that's fine. I still regard you opinion with the same respect as anyone else's. No judgements will be passed by me.
I'd still like to know the answer though. I'm such a curious bugger.
    Cheers, Billy.

Doubt it'll make much difference though. There aren't many politicians with the balls to take on the legal fraternity, and the snivel libertarians and other do gooders will still push for the "rights" of criminals no matter what.
Brian, I always regarded petitions as useless, but this mob "Change.org" has had some real sucesses and with a lot less numbers than they already have in this one.
Pollies are **** scared of losing the next election because they Know the only way they can earn a quid is to be a pollitician, no-one else would employ them.
For everyone that signs there are probably 10 more that didn't but feel the same way and will carry those feelings to the next election, Imagine if everyone in this post signed, then posted to all their friends on Facebook to do the same, and all those friends did the same, networking, fabulous, Thanks for signing, Regards Frank.

I signed that one when it first popped up.

Agree, Change.org is highly effective. Petitions that don't succeed often have little merit.
    Cheers, Billy.
