Obviously Redcliffe Peninsula is the only area worth considering

    Yes you would!

Strangy would fill up the townhouse with his feathered friends.

We have plenty of room for both and we're within 30 mins of the airport. Seems it's just the wrong one.

Other than cabs there is also Uber. Only $20 between airport and Cannon Hill.
There are also private parking options with quick transfers just west of the Gateway Motorway.

    Another Good area

Loganholme & Tanah Merah are 30 minutes from air airport and 45 minutes to Gold coast Airport all timings are based on a good day or time off day, If I fly any where now I use public transport to Gold Coast airport time 1 hour 10 minutes which has many advantages I like the Loganholme area because its a good jumping of place to most places of interest the Gold Coast is only 20 minutes away the express way to the west is at your back door and the Brisbane bypass north is also close. All types of rentals available

I'd go Brighton or Nudgee Beach. No tolls very nice place to live, still fairly affordable. On the Sth side there are some nice but affordable spots, very close but you pay tolls over the Gateway Bridge. Such as Hemmant, Tingalpa, Lindum, Wynnum, Manly, Lota, Thorneside, Wakerley, Capalaba, Birkdale.

    Good luck with the move.
