Swimming in farm dams. Swings and monkey bars, No seat belts. Country Coppers happy for us to drive the ute to the bus stop. Air rifles and shotguns. Rabbit traps and the odd bit of fire crackers. We are clearly hooligans

Did all that and some

Billy Carts with ball racer wheels, battles with other kids, weapons including rocks stubby bottle grenades ( Penny Bunkers for explosive ), Bunger guns for hitting ships with sand stone projectiles, swimming in the harbour with dead dogs effluent and funny looking deflated balloons, rafts made of two doors nailed either side of 4x2 s, the list is endless.

Riding in the back of utes as naturally as breathing.

Riding a bicycle on the road without a helmet.

Wagging school and forging your mother's signature on the sick note.

Likewise. We used to tie a ski rope to rear car bumpers and be towed on skateboards. Rope swings into lakes and rivers, bike ramps at the end of docks, BB gun wars, and the list goes on.....

Jumping our pushies off the bank and into the Yarra, nicking the roadworks kero lamps to use them in the Warrandyte gold mines.
