Geez you live in a rough area...![]()
I had just pulled into the driveway and my neighbor comes around and asked if I just saw what happened,?
Seems a young man armed with a can of Jack Daniels had just robbed a women of her purse from the local milk bar. My neighbor chased him down my street and caught the offender in the next street.
He saw the cops coming so he had to leave as he is an ex member of an outlawed bikie gang. . The offender wanted to know what gang he belonged to when he spotted the tatts, My neighbor said if the had to ask then it was irrelevant and if the guy wanted to take him on then go for it.
I stirred him about it, here is a guy that was known to police doing the cops job. I said wait until the club finds out!. Trouble is some one passed his mobile number onto the cops.. No he's peed off

I thought bikies often looked after there own residential area. After all their wives and families often live there .... One of the guys on another forum I'm on lived in a street that had a club house in it ..... Safest street in town... No-one would ever be stupid enough to try and rob them or anyone in that area.

Have heard several stories from a bloke who has had some involvement with outlaw motorcycle gangs about incidents where they have effectively delivered justice police would largely approve of more efficiently when they and/or the legal system may have been less successful Motorcycle gangs can often get away with marginally legal or illegal enforcement methods the police cannot and police normally would not try to prosecute them for this. Occasionally it concludes with handing offenders to police along with evidence to help them prosecute.
In the case Roverlord described, decent police would most likely thank the maybe ex gang member for catching the petty criminal even though they may have been keeping an eye on what else he gets up to. Someone who may be involved in dubious activities of types the police watch would not like them being supplied with a phone number they may not already have. However, those who realise how readily calls can be intercepted are normally careful about saying things on the phone that they don't want authorities to know about.
