I did this for the 60th to ensure we had somewhere than when poloflats (not an option this time round) become available I transferred my site to another member and booked polo flats.

I haven't decided if we will try and book at the show grounds......I suspect we will be crammed in. Either way will wait and see what the offer is at the show grounds and facilities that are available.

We are at an end of a 2 week trip so I think the Caravan Park would be a better option for us for the washing facility's etc.

most people/organisations/businesses make 75 years the milestone anniversary.

good luck to those organising Land Rover's 70th.

Please be soft on the organisers , it is a very difficult job to do and if you haven't been there , make it easier for them by being helpful.

Yes I agree - this event is still 8 months away, it is not next week. Some things have been put in place some have not - I am sure it will all come togther.

    Getting closer

Well Easter is almost here , the 101's had better start making a move

Anyone care to nominate a watering hole for Aulro to get together, especially on the 29th/30th ?

Done a deal with the son, he will get off the Computer and assist the old man in the driving,
however on the Monday we have to go to the NGA in Canberra and see the fog sculpture , Makes a change from visiting the War Memorial every time.

Bit worried once they see the Defender they will want ot make it a permanent exhibit
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Clancy's gone to Queensland Rovering, and we don't know where he are

Well I`m booked in now. Booked a spot at the show grounds. I will be taking the week before and after as holidays as well. Most likely check out Wingan inlet on the way there. Been forty two years since I was there. Might of changed a bit.
