Blue lights just look brighter - they don't help you see better. In fact if you want to go to coloured lights, yellow would be better, as in France. But I suggest staying with white.
Good quality (clean) headlights is where to start, followed by getting the full voltage to them (see other replies) and only then think about higher wattage bulbs, if more light is still wanted.
Headlight bulbs are very sensitive to voltage, and eliminating even a few tenths of a volt drop can have as much effect as doubling the wattage. Similarly, the difference between good and poor quality headlights can be even more than a 100% change in wattage.
running the correct voltage to your lights also helps them last longer...
Most blue lights give more glare to oncoming drivers. Read http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bu.../blue/blue.htmlQuote:

Thanks for all the info time to get out the pliers, and wire striper. With 4 relays were is the best plays to hide them ? and do they need any type of cover ?
Thanks WELSHMAN
You dont need 4 relays. Buy one "New Era" twin relay and use one side for low beam and one for high. I bought one recently from Pirahna and it was $25.00. I am sure I saw them for $42.00 in Supercrap.
