Not just in SEQ - I was coming up Tap Hill on Saturday (between Coonabarabran & Gilgandra) at around midday. The trucks' outside temp gauge was reading 47 degrees! I was about 3 gears below what the Scania could pull it in, just to keep the temp gauge from climbing!

I still have to walk the twenty yards between the truck and the car at knock off time; then I have to get from the car to the house. It's not all beer and skittles you know.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

ya might have to book me in with V8 Ian, I love the summer heat, I get out in the yard and do chores...sure it's warm ...it gets to sweaty I go sit in the shade. No aircon here.....not even ceiling fans.

    oh, drink water.....it works.

Yes it is always hot in summer but up here we usually get afternoon storms to cool things down, this year there have been next to no summer storms not even a cyclone has brewed. Most unusual.
