I think I agree with CraigE, get in touch with the site moderator as a first step and explain the situation and that whilst you would be acceptable to the drawings being there you are not happy with the way it has been done.
See what the response is and plan the next step from there.

Good point gents and I will go that way.

Hi Steinzy, have a look at this. It’s from the other site and is very valid but for some reason it is only viewable if you go to the source code.
<span style="color:green">We request you retain the full copyright notice below including the link to www.phpbb.com.
This not only gives respect to the large amount of time given freely by the developers
but also helps build interest, traffic and use of phpBB 2.0. If you cannot (for good
reason) retain the full copyright we request you at least leave in place the
Powered by phpBB 2.0.10 line, with phpBB linked to www.phpbb.com. If you refuse
to include even this then support on our forums may be affected.</span>
Now here’s the thing, It’s in the source code for this site as well.
I think it would be a good idea if it was displayed in full, at the bottom of all pages so people will, if they don’t realise it, do the right thing.
As for the low life on the Outer Limits site, he had no intentions of giving anybody credit.
Cheers

That is so true
I wonder why it's only displayed in the source code???

That disclaimer Steinzy is only for PHP for the forum coding itself... it doesn't refer to the individual posters or topics...
I think it's the same (or a variation) to the forum coding used in AULRO as well.

this is a highly modded version of phpbb intergrated with phpnuke and a few custom sql mods to the server.
the guy that did the original intergration used to run BBS's with me in the 80's and 90's and is an exceptionally good programmer... i suck at it https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
the copyright specifically applies to the source code not the contents of the forum.

hehe    i knew Inc would correct me on that for keeping it too simple
And yes we appreciate tremendously all the work you've put into having this forum running smoothly Incisor... thank-you from the bottom of our hearts https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I can understand you anger drivesafe, but the problem with the internet is its really hard to police who gets what, and unless the person has any decency the original owner of the material rarely gets noticed.
For example if i quote something from a magazine, LROI for example, i make sure i say which edition and even which page the info came from. Its the decent thing to do, but some people arent decent. Matt
