I used a plugin to do that on the old system
I have yet to find anything comparable for this later version.
if I find anything I will bring it back.

For threads started by yourself,
Try 'Advanced Search' then select 'Title Only' in first drop down box then type your username in the 'exact name' box, then hit 'search'. And you can save these settings to speed your next search.
Or for threads you have subscribed to, select 'Quick Links' tab then 'Subscribed Threads'
Easy as ........... once you find your way around. [wink11]

Thanks for trying to help out. The first option 'Advanced Search' then select 'Title Only' in first drop down box then type your username in the 'exact name' box, then hit 'search' - doesnt work - just draws a blank.I think Inc is working on it.
I couldnt see the QuickLinks Tab? I will go searching.Oh my space bar has carked it now?!
All good fun (now its working again!).Will get there in the end.
cheers,

Yes - thank you - i see all my recent posts I think , individually. I think previously on the old system they were listed by title rather than individual posts. I'll have a play and see how far I can go back.
cheers,
d
P.s - If I click on find latest started threads after hitting the avatar - i think this is the same as what we had previously when we just used to hit the your posts button.
All good.
Cheers again,
d
When I list the "New Posts", the panel in the right hand column has the bottom half of the letters showing the name of the forum cut off.
Is that because of a setting I need to change?
I was going to mention the "Your posts" things but obviously that's in hand.
I'm in the don't give a hoot category because:
1. I know how much hard work this is to get right, or even close to right(or same some idea at least);
2. I know that if things aren't changed / updated that when it eventually does fall over and old versions of forum software become unsupported it all goes to hell and for MUCH longer than it took for Inc to rescue this place.
3. You can't please everyone, and will go mad if you try. (Mind you, Inc does try, which explains his madness).
One thing I have noticed since the change is that when I go to reply sometimes I have to click with the mouse several times in the reply box, before it will put my cursor in there and allow me to type, and also sometimes it won't allow me to cut&paste into that form until I've tried a second or third time.
I know this is the case on MS Edge (yeah I know - work computer) and haven't tried it on Chrome (at home) yet to see if the issue is the same. It isn't the only forum software I've had this issue on though, with my work computer (the other was ancient 'Community Forum' software). It's quite possible this is nothing to do with the new version of vBulletin, but it may be as I've only noticed it since the update.
Just FYI and no biggie.
Cheers
Interesting that this poll was not visible on my phone using Tapatalk.
Don't even START on tapatalk. What a nightmare that thing is (which is a completely external issue to the forum).
Tapatalk (like Microsoft word) seems to do what it THINKS you want as opposed to what you ACTUALLY want.
But I digress.
