Paddock Spares UK

G'day Mario.
I checked the part numbers locally and the price quoted was $330 without delivery. thought that I would give Paddocks a go. As a single pensioner I need to save money wherever I can, if I can get a year or two out of the starter, good'o. How much is the Denso thingy ?
I also need an oil filter and a set of spark plugs for my 1998 4.6 P38, can you supply ?

However we would not warrant them. At 65.65 pound plus freight it is not the more expensive bosch unit they have on their site which they show as Lucas . We have the proper Denso starters pretty well priced. It pays to check local vendors first and compare apples to apples. often people buy OS thinking they are getting a bargain and end up with inferior parts.
Just having a look on local ebay shows you can buy cheap starters from $134 with free delivery!

Hi Robert, the post to send 1 oil filter would negate any savings. Oil filters are pretty cheap. Part number ERR3340 = Z89A supercheap has Ryco for $14.88, The spark plugs, just go into a Bursons auto place or supercheap auto and get a price on them , RNY11YC.

Re the cheap starters the market is being flooded with cheap Chinese, Sri Lankin /Indian quality starters so beware there some are even offering 6 year warranties, as before there were those that were offering TD5 alternators with big claims on warranty , but those sellers are no longer around so their warranties were useless. We tried some aftermarket starters in the past and one even failed 1 day after install. It snapped at the mountings as the casting is substandard Not worth the headaches to us and our reputation . Unfortunately the cheap imports keep coming in as people are buying on price. When you pull the copies apart the internals are so much lesser quality!

I use lr direct with no problems and for the local stuff give british car components a call and get your answer on the phone straight away 😆

I was at Supercheap the other day & they did not have what I was after , the girl there told me to go to Bursons because they supply all the parts to Supercheap.
