Don't be silly!
:soapbox:
I've got a container of the Sodium Carbonate laundry washing powder in the shed - but I use that to make up the electrolyte solution for my rust removal / electrolysis set-up.
For cleaning my hands, I still have a small bottle of Solvol hand cleaner in the laundry, but have containers of the "Fast Orange" hand cleaner (I get it from Supercheap) in both the shed and the laundry. I refer to it as "Agent Orange" and have used it for years - gets almost anything off. [biggrin]
Liquid laundry soap for me. Earth@#oice
CT18 truck wash. Supercrap sell 5L for $20 every few months.
Petrol?
Yep, guilty.
Back in the Good Old Days of making Biodiesel, I kept the 'glycerol' by-product and sometimes mixed in some sand. Worked as well as the $$$ specialized 'waterless' hand cleaners, and cost me nothing.[bigsmile]
Perhaps (Fauldings) 'Barrier Cream' used before doing grubby grimy work ? - used to be able to buy it in large-ish tubs, only seen toothpaste-sized tubes of it recently.
