I see a 130 in Albany every time we visit,I believe its the same one with all the checkerplate removed.lots of rivet holes everywhere.Apart from the holes its been renovated,or is that saved.Looks really good now,repainted or polished nicely,big shiny wheels/tyres,roofrack,awning etc.
At least all that Albany rain can run out of the drainage holes in the panels

I remember that 130.

We spent some time camping at the Kalgan River caravan park a while back when we still had the D2. Sorry to hear if the owners from back then have sold up - they were great people and the park was a very "Land Rover friendly" place to spend some time.

I remember that vehicle Andrew and thought it was horrid overkill. Was the bloke that drove it the park owner?

That was one of his Land Rovers - he had others. From memory, I think his wife also drove an RRC.

She had a P38a Brian.
99% sure I have seen under new management on advertising for the place.
They were great hosts,he could yak no end!!!!

Am I the only one who sees "chequer plate rash" and thinks young ladies at a B&S ??
