    A throw net over some chook pellets placed ealier is about the best,other than that "yabbie" traps are good.
    They are a fair size,you wouldnt class them as shrimps,the meat on the tail would be 6 to 8 inches long,including their nippers(no meat) they are almost a foot long.

    Whatever you do, don't use rotten turtle for bait.


    It'll catch you the crays, but you'll never get the smell of rotten turtle out of your head.

    MMMMMM turtle soup. Used to make it as a speciality for Christmas Dinner when I was cooking. Also have a friend who is allowed to catch stuff like this if I want some.
