Yes I can not understand, the dealer that has since lost the dealership, is the ford dealer in town, which brings up another interesting problem, why would they ditch their own product ?????
I am cranky as, & am not sure where I will be sourcing my filter from, as I will be wanting genuine centrafugal filters, I have been using the ryco canister filter for a while with no problems, but was unaware the other filter even existed untill the d2 ran out of warranty & I started all the services myself. & I must say since it has been serviced by me it hasn't had any trouble at all. Unlike the monthly trip back to the dealer when they were servicing it.......lol..............strange isn't it.

Airforce TV Show
I just thought that I'd mention that ABC2 has a show on Tuesday night at 8pm. It's about the Aussie airforce. Just watched tonights episode, and it was pretty interesting. It's on next week too.
Only downside is that it's a 2002 show, so possibly a bit out of date.

hey...whats this got to do with genuine filters......?
do they run the same filters.....?
does anyone on this site have any dealings with the german company
mann & hummel.....?
that can maybe organise a bulk delivery of filters at or near cost so we can all stock up...?
there was a guy at the penrith land rover owners club show that was selling the filters for $11....
the correct ones......why pay the dealers $38 or autopro $32 when someone can
retail the things for $11 and still profit.....?
(i dont think he would be selling them if he wasnt making a profit...)
i dont think incisor needs any more stock sitting in his place to supply us.....
(but i did think of having them in the emporium.... )
just gotta find a supplier in oz......research on google came up blank......</span>

LPX100590 is the centrifugal filter & the dealer retail is $37.92.
I should be able to get them for around $28 or so which is a couple of $ over cost (allowing GST).
ERR6299 is the oil filter & the retail is $24.00.
The cost + GST + TCLR bit would work out at about $13.00.
I'm sure my new contact in our Spare Parts dept would be able to help out so those prices should be close to the mark  .
These prices would be from Parramatta or Liverpool in Sydney.
If anyone's interested, I would be able to bring them along on an Sydney area AULRO run.

Lawrences Holden in Rockhampton (ph 07 4930 5123)are a Landrover dealer last I knew, but would also be about 3 1/2 hrs away. Also Reef City Ford in Gladstone ( ph 07 4971 4000) used to sell Landrovers, don't know if they still do but they might be able to get you parts, slighty closer at about 2 1/2 hrs away.

Andersons in Hervey Bay (about an hour from bundy) are Land Rover specialists who sell and stock genuine and non genuine parts though not authorised dealers.
They're always wrecking landys and parts and service prices are pretty reasonable.
