    NEW YEARS

    What are you guys doing???????
Im off to WINTER BIGTIME Off to Albany for 4 nites.
I heard the forecast for Albany this morning for new years eve,16deg max with showers
Perhaps the Middleton Beach concert/fireworks wont be such a good idea as we had planed to do.
You wouldnt belive the run of cood summer weather we are having over here, all time record low december temps,I think we have hit 30deg twice
Im not complaining,we have been having some really nice mild weather,if only it was "normal" we would be laughing, them 38/40 deg days must be lurking around soon????

I'm working Christmas Eve - 3pm-11pm. Hopefully it will be cooler than today at +38 deg C although tomorrow is supposed to be above 40 deg C.

Working New Years eve (day until 1800), then New Years Day 0530-1800.

Was rostered off but swapped some shifts with another guy so he could have it off. Upside is I get 8 days off from 3/1 with out having to take any leave.

Sadly i will be undergoing some male theropy.....

The day starts off at my mates country property with a big lunch and a walk around our later activitys to discuss the proceddures that follow...

Then we walk about 500 meters to his office and all climb in a motorised gadget that has these wing things and goes fast and leaves the ground....

We then fly around the west coast of vic from Geelong to torquay and so forth and just have a sight see....
When we get back we pick our weapon of choice for an afternoon of fun.

    This year we have
    XD falcon
    Honda Civic
    Volvo 760
    BMW 318

Helmets on and rules are as follows...

No Head on's, No T-boning. otherwise anything goes...
as its a bit dry we will have to bring the water truck out to keep the dust down and make it a bit slippery....

After a few hours and several ohhhhh Shiets... we dump all fluids and go back for more...
My bet is the ford will survive longest if its still drivable...

When that had bored us... we have the 2 old girls to use on our little 4wd course...
There is Molly the Suzuki and big red the Hilux....
This only lasts about 1/2 hours as you get that filthy you get over it very quickly... the mud hole that is about 4 foot deep is the best fun...
i have a photo somewhere of the defender driving the whole circuit without stoping once... i was impressed... mind you there was a few moments i thought it was going to fall over...

Then if i'm still bored i'm alowed to drive Camila over the honda Civic... or attempt to....

Then the BBQ gets fired up again and after a shower we kick back watch the sun set, turn the air strip lights on and drink a few cans watching the planes come in squash bunnys......

Should be a boring day, but i'll try to make it fun.....

    Anyone want to join me?

    Umm next year? ops:

I'm confused. We had our Christmas dinner the night before last when the kids were able to get home and when I wasn't working.
