private import - farm machinery

There are a couple of those still on the market. As I do not need the hight just volume I am looking for something without the arm where the bucket is much closer to the linkage. They also come with hydraulic tipping which is a plus.

As for anything made locally, not a hope, tried that first. All Chinese imports with no load rating.

It's a tip bucket. fiddly to use, but it beats the **** out of shovelling into a barrow. It does work, but I couldn't imagine using it for anything other than "hobby farm" type use. You see, even using it for 20minutes ... your bloody neck is killing you from looking over you shoulder... The trip mechanism is a PITA to use.... My tractor is just a ****ty old IH434 ... it rated lifting capacity of the 3PL is about 1.3tons.... The bucket is quite a bit further out from the back of the tractor ... so say 50% of this ... then you will have the front wheels of the tractor off the ground trying to move it ... and no steering ....

I woldn't even consider it ... You need a FEL !!

How much do you want to spend????
All the farmers around here are buying huge loaders,ex mining and they are dirt cheap.They have been spending $60K for a machine that fits 15 tonnes of dirt in its bucket.
