    Good show eh?

For Mick and Paul, last year it was calculated at 146 grams.

Farcebook is weight negative. AULRO wis weight positive. Throughout the Internet we have these diametric opposites, of varying magnitude. My calculations which I have based on all the relevant facts that I can make up, have the Internet weighing in at a hefty minus 28 Megatons which is enough to implode Silicone Vally.
I can't for the life of me, work out how it could possibly weigh as much as a Cricket Ball.
    Cheers, Billy.

Did you take into account the colour of the ball, Billy?

    Mick,
Pretty sure you will find it's putting on weight - you remembered the photons and electrons... but you forgot the morons..

Please don't tell me it's not a red one. I'll have to do the calculus all over again.

The answer would be found in Einstein's famous formula, E=MC². Calculate the energy embodied in the data and divide by the speed of light, squared.

BTW the electrons exist regardless of being part of data or not, what matters is the energy they gain by being moved into data bits.

Photons have mass. If they didn't have mass they could easily escape the gravitational forces of a black hole .. then I guess it wouldn't be so black in that case.

Apparently someone has actually calculated the weight of the internet and it is similar to a strawberry. Seriously.
