I know the orb weavers can pick some awkward positions. We have several about the house and I often enjoy watching them build a web.
Better viewing than most of the crap on TV these days.

Mr 42 and Mr swift have it, we have heaps here, and once you start breaking the web a few times they will pick another anchor point.
We have Huntmans too, we just leave them, had one crawl onto my shoulder last week while I was watching TV, so I got up, held my arm out to touch the window ledge, and let her walk down my arm(bare skin) and onto the ledge and off she went, harmless creatures, the amazing part of this was when she reached my hand, she was almost as big as it.
Facinating watching them.
Already have some Redbacks, but thanks for the offer. No Spider gets killed in our household and the Redbacks have found the used tyre and rim stack in the backyard a safe haven from the daddy long legs that infest my garage. When I need a rim or tyre out of it I carefully look over said part and dust off any spiders back into the heap.
I also found a Redbacks behind one of the hubcaps on my caravan when I greased the hubs a few months back - I've done a thousand KM with the van since then, so if she's still there she must be cross eyed by now...
We also have some truly huge black house spiders in the lounge room windows, the odd huntsman wanders through occationally and now this beautiful golden orb, but she is the only one in the wrong spot for us at the moment. :)
Just check under your bicycle seat before mounting.
I had a nice fluffy looking orb spin a nice web over the entrance to my wood shed, i gently broke the anchor points and spidy then moved to another undisclosed location.
