Having lived in Riyadh for 2 years I can assure you that this is a moderate roof rack.
The Egyptians working in Kuwait , and the UAE used to drive across Saudi along the Trans Arabia Pipeline road , then to Jordan to catch the ferry to Gaza during the Ramadan holiday.
I used to see numerous cars on their tops with debris strewn for hundreds of metres.
One of the best was an old Merc 450 I saw at a hotel in Tabuk. It had a roofrack built which went from the front bumper to the rear bumper, with supports front and back. It had on it among other things a stove and a washing machine. It drooped over the sides so that the doors could not be opened and the occupants of the car could only get in or out by crawling out the windows after pushing up on the boxes of Kimbies diposable nappies( which apparently were expensive in Egypt).I never thought to take a photo!
I would hazard a guess that he driver may originate from this general area.
    Regards Philip A

    WHAT THE ?????????????

    G'day Ferno

You should send that one off to "SCUBY" with the notation that 4x4's are not dangerious it is just the IDIOT OWNER/DRIVER'S 8O

You can bet that that Idiot would then attempt to drive back to Brisbane or elsewhere and be a hazard to other motorists, hopefully the Plods nailed him and put the vehicle off the road, with 66 dead so far we can do without Fools like that

    Rant over.
