Yep definitely the right thing to do. The more cat6 run the better - getting as many of your fixed devices (TVs, PCs, Prnters etc) off wifi and on to ethernet the better. Leave wifi for laptops, tablets and mobile phone etc. It will give a more reliable and better performing network over all.Quote:

Up here, with the frequent brown outs, a fixed line is essential. NBN ain't going to give me that. Not sure the wireless mob is either.
