Yes, I'm aware of that, I was referring to 60 kph in the suburbs, where unthinking drivers sit on 55 or under, holding everyone up,..as I said I don't worry on higher speed, multi lane roads, as you say, annoying though it may be.

    Keeping left

When driving on any multi-lane road with a speed limit over 80km/h, you must keep out of the right lane unless you are:

    • overtaking
    • turning right
    • if all lanes are congested.

If the right lane is a transit lane, this rule applies to the lane immediately to the left of the transit lane.
    notice it says over 80km/h

so roads that are 80, the rules doesnt apply

Rules are there to be broken some say
But honestly common sense and respect for other road users law braking or not has been lost over the years

Basic tenant, one of the first rules of motoring 'drive as close to the left as possible'.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Some interpret that as "drive as close to the vehicle in front as possible " , ( and before it starts ) , "at the posted speed limit " .

It's always good to travel at or just below the speed limit on long weekends, them the dickheads rush past you and get sprung for lots of excess vroom at the frequent speed traps on the way home.
