Thread: Was out on the hills today.

Here is a map from NASA showing the fires here. The second map is a close up to show the most northerly fire. I live bang smack in the centre of the peninsula that has the fire.

So you'd be near Carndonagh would you?
And the fire around Raghtin More?

Congratulations once again Sherlock. I live in Carndonagh and the fires were indeed on Raghtin Mor. You definitely missed your calling. Ever thought of getting a Deerstalker and an assistant with a medical back ground?

Normal service has been resumed today. The temperature has dropped and the rain has fallen for the first time this month. If I'd wanted to take photo's on the hills today I'd need to borrow some photographic equipment from NASA or the FBI! As it was I had my flask of tea and victuals sitting at a cairn in the cloud, wind and rain earlier. You gotta love Summer!!!!

I've got a Herringbone Tweed cap made in Ireland and a Magnifying Glass with LEDs in it made in China. There could also be some form of Pipe out in the shed. Will that do?

Oh yeh thanks Ian. So that one's out then. Copper No, Gal NO,,,,,PVC no , PVA No, Here y'are!!!!! How about Dad's old bent pipe he used to smoke tobacco with? I knew I'd find a use for that one day.
