Not only does it have a stacker, it has the previous owner's CDs in it. They have crap taste in driving tunes.

Ian my 2000 D2 had a factory stacker which was definitely located under the drivers seat - you accessed the cartridge from the front of the seat.

Is it possible it's after market and hidden in the back somewhere?...

Or can someone change disks while you crawl around the car listening for the sounds of the stacker switching over?

That's where mine is. But mine isn't HSE, nor does it have a DVD.

Sure it's not under the front passenger seat, like in a D1? Can the dash radio accept a single CD? Why don't you just buy an iPod, save your music to it and plug it into the head unit? I have 50gig of music on mine. Join your local library and borrow their CD collection, which it has paid a licence to lend out, to save for later replay - yes it's legal to save music for replay as long as you don't try to profit from it.

Mine's an HSE, the factory DVD player's under the driver's seat.
Good idea changing and listening, thanks Mark.
