FLY TO OUR NEAREST STAR....pack a few lunches though.
Currently there are 5 spacecraft leaving or escaping our solar system.
2 of them no longer working but 3 still communicate with us.
the fastest one is Voyager 1 which is hurtling along at approximately 61,000kmh , will reach our nearest star , Proxima Centauri , in only 70,000 years. No one will ever know if it gets there or what will happen when it does.
kinda makes one feel small.
this information is available through Heavens-Above
Den,
theres something out there......

Makes you realise how big the Universe is, doesn't it. The speed of light is 300,000k's PER SECOND so that spacecraft is only moving at a snails pace.
