Thread: 2000 Disco II 01MY 7 seater Auto, what would you pay ?

47500kms with all the standard stuff eg : cruise , abs, airbags. 1 owner.

I am considering buying one and wondered what is s fair price. I have looked at redbook but would still value your thoughts

Even though I am a SII Disco owner myself, I find pricing these things damn hard.
Only because of its mileage, I would say that most dealers and a few private sellers would sell a vehicle like this probably high 20's to low 30's. I do assume that you are quoting the TD5. You can certainly find a bargain around, and some vehicles that I think should be a lot cheaper are still priced a lot higher, and vice versa. I saw a Disco II advertised with 220000+ km's, and they still wanted 28K for it!
I would be negotiating personally for a mid 20's figure bearing in mind that we have just clocked over another calender year, and the the 2000 model is now 6 years old. My vehicle is also a 2000 model, and I shudder what another year will do to resale value!
