Years ago in the UK most electronically injected cars had a 'flat spot' at around 50mph. This was where they did one of the fuel economy test figures so most manufacturers leaned the vehicle off at this speed !!
Some of the aftermarket chips just got rid of the flat spot and the overall economy improved.

Urea? Yep, heaps of modern diesels use SCR, and some are now using SCR along with EGR. Trouble with AdBlue is not everywhere has it, and the car or truck sulks big time if you run out. The Scania used to de-rate by about 25%.Quote:
