The lever with the spring is a latch but not for a gate .The other lever revolves the bottom shaftQuote:

When the spring lever is opperated the ? can hinge 120 degrees .The other lever turns the bottom shaft thru thru about 40 degree and the whole doover can pivot rotate thru about 40 degree .And you'r doing better than me if that makes sense[bighmmm]
