After reading this earlier and knowing that I get waves up here I had a trial when I did my site rounds earlier. I didn't wave to discos I waved to every BMW that I past. Got no waves but got a lot of dirty looks and a sore arm.
So many BMW's up here makes me sick.
    Two discos waved too.

When I first got the Defender, didnt know what the hell was going on, kept pulling up to see if there was something wrong with the truck that they were warning me about. 8O

There is a Defender 130 I see about once a week going to work. The guy who drives it never waves but his missus waves back. Do you think he's getting paranoid yet . Last week I saw a series and they wouldn't wave back either .

that was the same reaction i got from the handbrake when i first bought the fender....who was that.....?
    do you know him....?

i had to explain to her that you gotta wave to other landys in these things...

only problem is when im in her falcon....
i lift my hand to wave when i see another fender then i realise that there is no point.....
fender drivers dont check to see who is driving a falcon and are they gonna wave to me....?

the "standard" sydney wave is one finger......

    its a sort of salute.....

if you dont know what i mean......
just fash your lights at any vehicle in front of you or you can just beep your horn.....

try this next time you are in sydney......

oh....and as for the question of carrying a firearm.....
in sydney it should be on your lap.....loaded and cocked.... :!:

I've noticed several instances around Sydney over the apst couple of months of Defender owners not waving back.

They had ample opportunity too, not like didn't see, which happens occassionally.

    Very disappointing.

If I hadn't had a rash of wavers in the past week or so I would become disheartened.

    Cheers
