So give us a wave back
    We won't think it's slack

Then we know about Landys, you care

Even if you look like a Rangie driving banker
If you wave, at least we'll know you're not a *$(*%_^++@$
    I love it

Drove down to Taren Point today. 3 Defenders, two waves. The third was a very nice 130 parked and empty in the back yard at the local Toyota dealer.

It was surrounded by wrecked cars and I was hoping, hoping that it was wrecked too and looking for a home.

No such luck, still registered and new muddies on.

    Bugger.

If I am tail-gated whilst driving the Commode to and from work by a Land Rover then that is perfectly excusable as the sticker on the Commode says "Land Rover.... everything else is crap" and you have to get close to read the crap bit.

If I am tail-gated by a Boyota or a Kissan then I am worried because they might not appreciate the subtle message.

Just as I left for work this morning I was waved at by a Disco owner coming past. First time in 8 months of owning one, and I happily waved back. I think it must be the combination of:

    - LROCV sticker next to rego on bullbar
    - aerial
    - checkerplate bashplate/steering guard
    - me grinning like an idiot because I was listening to something funny
    - mud

When I had a Fiat, EVERYONE waved. You needed the moral support!

out here in the sticks away from the highway, everyone (as in all vehicles, not just Landies) waves.
Out on the main roads, most nearly all the 'fenders wave (except for D90's !) and very occaisonally a D1.
I had the biggest shock several months ago when a P38 and a DII waved near Penrith. 8O I actually passed 10 or 12 Land Rovers of various descriptions between Murrurundi and Penrith, and most waved. 8)

We joke that the question on the minds of the other Disco must be 'Who the hell is that :?: '

    Cheers,
    Lyndon.
Yeah I do the same but to 'Fenders and Rangies as well.

The looks on the other drivers is priceless

I've only got a few waves back

Well I waved to two Defender drivers today and was very obviously snobbed. One was on Harbour esplanade in front of the NAB in docklands, and the was on Citylink on the way home. Mind you though, most disco drivers are the same.
