I wave and don't care if they wave back or not personally I think it's a state of mind thing either you get it or you don't.

Bloody tailgaters a couple of days ago I had one so close I couldn't see his lights, I touched the brake pedal to show the brake lights so the idiot hit me with high beam spot lights the lot. Did the slow down gig so they would pass - Oh no just keep the spot lights on so I crack it slammed on the brakes pulled over - they passed window down big mouth full of abuse and the bird, Hmm me thinks some Chev Suburbans drivers are not nice people.

I hope I see him bogged one day

    Hey All,

Well as I mentioned yesterday, had to drive from Gold Coast to Brissie and back to pick up the wascles, and I waved like a mad man to all and sundry whom where driving a landy. One the way back my children thought dad had kinda lost it. The result- 0 returns, though one guy in Mudgeeraba where I reside, went over the kerb near Theo's liquor barn when I waved. Not sure if that was shock or just really poor driving . Despite the 0 return, I think the M1 with 4 lanes up and back in the 110k zone it may be a bit much to expect a wave from someone going in opposite direction 3 lanes over .......or is it . As the new beastie is in for a warranty issue, they have loaned me a D2 ( never driven one prior to today) so will see if I get a better response out and about. Maybe the D3 in black gives off the wrong impression that I wouldnt take it off road and hence not worthy of a wave back . Will keep ya posted,

    Regards

    Stevo

I think there is a bit of a pattern apearing between the city and the bush. It seems that more people wave in the bush than in the city (or even towns)

Maybe in the bush it's an acknowledgment of 'hey we are out here too' Where as in the city it's '**** off I want to be out bush'??

Hmmm I think I will have a beer and think about that one!!

Went to Winmallee today to help my Aunty out around the yard, she has just had back surgery so the yard has grown out of control abit. It seemed like every 2nd vehicle was a Disco, saw heaps, and not one wave. Even saw a heap of defenders and a couple of series landies and didnt get a wave from them either. Very dissapointing to say the least. matt

Looks like we might have to start a Political Party called 'Wave to the Landys' to combat this growing problem!!!

Most people are just to buisy watching where there driving 8O to worry about waving on the road. I have found though when off road most Land Rover owners wave, more than other 4x4 drivers.

Watching? Watching what? The Road!? 8O

If they've got the Green Badge the only thing they should be watching is - for other LR Drivers

    & maybe the occassional pedestrian
