It's funny on the west coast of south australia (port lincoln district) every bugger waves to every one regardless of type of car. Up here in Darwin I wave to very one when I get to my area which is Howard Springs I even wave when driving my ladys Prado. I get no waves back in the Prado but I get 4/5 out of ten in the Disco?? perhaps people expect landy owners to wave?

When I had the series IIa every one waved, and I must admit I miss it a bit, (but not as much as I miss the landy)

I wave to all Landy's, regardless.
    Some return it, some dont.
If I am forced to drive the Failane, I still wave ! Only wave I got back tho, was from a late model Rangy.
The Missus thinks I'm a dill fer doin it, but I've noticed that when she see's a Landy now, she has started to wave and say G'day ?
She often misses them tho, as she watches out for wildlife and talks to
    all of the animals.
    Cheers.

PS: I think that everyone in S.A. waves to everyone else, because they are all inbred and think they are related.

    Waves

Driving a RR classic I'd say that 7 out of 10 other classic drivers wave back. A few years back, driving from Melb to Qld, my ex was amazed at how many other drivers either waved or waved back. She joked that we were like the Masons with the secret wave thing

Yep. We just have to teach those who don't know or if they refuse reposes their membership for those who understand. Start taking number plates
