Two friends gone on the same day

Sad to say that my mate's little brother was Brett Forte, the police officer killed yesterday, and an old work mate was hit by a train and killed whilst he was at work last night.

Certainly makes you pause and reflect.

Geez, I read about them both on the news today.

    Please accept my sympathy.

We are at the age that friends and colleagues fall off the perch. The more, the older we get. Well, that is what I am finding. Two work colleagues have fallen off the perch just this month. We're meeting at the pub tomorrow night to remember the latest, well, those that worked with him.

How is you mate coping? Times like this show us all how precious life is, and how fleeting it can become. Never take life for granted, and keep your loved ones close.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

That's very tough. Their families will need a lot of support.
