Dad was an engineer on the project at AE Goodwin at St Marys (NSW) where these were built.
I might print that out and send it to him.

8) thanks ron,
i have had a quick look and slugged it into favourites.
my dad ran a fleet of trucks and had a 'knocker.
there is a chap that comes to the mudgeerbah [might have spelt that wrong] show with that engine - its awsome to hear it and a wonderful piece of machinery, even if it sent every owner of one broke.
british engineering at its finest!
i want one.
I used to be editor of the Hillman Owners Club of Aust magazine (before I was editor of the LROC mag) so I knew about the TS3.

I had a Lima HO scale train set as a kid (@ 1970) that had a 44 Class loco pulling the Indian Pacific, and I could look out the front window of our house as the real thing went past !
Oh dear, I suddenly feel very old.......
I washed my mini cooper 3 months after i brought it and all the paint came off in large sheets like you take off wall paper . 8O
The guy i brought it from didnt sand the primer before spraying so the final coats washed away .
The funny thing was at my work they wash cars once a year as a charity thing with the local firebrigade, if i had left it untill then and got them to wash it can you imagine there faces
I bet it passed the time quickly though ron.
I planned to go to my aunties at Winmallee today to do some cleaning up for her, i went but worked outside in drizzle all morning. We (dad and i, the women were shopping  ) then took a load of rubbish to the Blaxland tip only to be told we werent locals so we werent allowed to drop the rubbish (all green waste so doesnt really pose a problem to land fill), and that if we wanted to drop it we either needed a copy of a rates notice for my aunties address or for her to come with here drivers licence. Total load of crap, so we turned around went back to her place and dumped it on the nature strip so her son could dump it later. Matt
