    Safari 4x4 snorkel for the D3

    To the D3 owners and potential owners,

    I just got a reply from Safari 4x4 on the snorkel for the D3 and the following information was supplied:

    "The snorkel is going through final stages of release. Fingers crossed it will be on sale within the next month.

    The snorkel will come as a complete assembly to bolt on, as all Safari snorkels are. I cannot say exactly on wind noise or special fitting instructions just yet as it is not finalized and I do not know the final outcome at this stage. Price wise I also will not know until the release date, once management has issued an appropriate price".

    I asked for any pics but none were supplied.

    maybe another company has also worked on one as the G4 Challenge D3's had them... or they were made internally at LR :?

    I think they are a Mantec design, but you I have heard you can get it as a LR part (?) !!

    I've added it to my list!

    I read about the Mantec one. Might send them an email to see when it will be available, although it doesn't look like it can take a precleaner if necessary.

    Got the bar and winch fitted. I'll post some pics later today or tomorrow.
