Nah, not unless it had seriously high Km, when i was looking Sept 04 there was nothing with less than 200000km for under 28k, they are now selling for between 20 and 25k with between 150000km and 200000km, that is of course unless you find a bargain like Landyandy did, i think he only paid 15k for his, it had higher Km though, but was well serviced. I was reading Just 4x4's at work and the cheapest one in there was $22990 but it didnt list the km's. Matt

You would be lucky to pick up a late S1 300TDi for that sort of dough.

You might get a 99/2000 V8 for $15K, but would expect them to still be a little higher towards the 20K mark. 8O

What glen said! The cheapest TDi i saw in the mag was 13k, there are cheaper ones but unless you are well sure of the history they are a risk touching. You would be better off spending 15k on a pretty good TDi than 15k on a highmilage TD5, unless it was a top buy with all the history like Landyandy's.

Go the TDi Kai, i love mine, simple, easy to work on, water doesnt bother them in the slightest and bloody good on fuel. Try and get one late 98 or early 99 though, thats when the prince of darkness got sacked and Mr Bosch got the job. Not a single problem with my electrics. (now touching wood [the stuff grown on trees wood[). Matt
