    Woomera.

I was going through some old photos and came across this.
It was while I was working my way around Oz in 1967.
Does it still look like this as I have not been back since. Must do it again.
The Landy is an ex Woomera Ambulance 1963 109.

After reading some of the history, it would be interesting to see it for real. Got any more pics?

Having been there for Anzac this year, it's still looking pretty much the same. I don't have any pics on my phone, but have a few on the comp at home.

I was not able to get in there so kept going.
Met this mob on the road. Gave them a couple of quarts of water as they were getting short.

WE came across these natives just out of Roxby Downs on the way to Woomera, and as you can see,the background doesn't have a lot to it,, just low lying scrub. The scrub on the left is the RD side of things, and on the right, it's like that all the way to Woomera and beyond.

These two pics are on the South East side of Woomera on our way home heading towards Port Augusta, but showing the right side of the HWY looking NNW. It was a great trip to do, and we are looking forward to going back and exploring a bit more, taking out time to really see whats there.
