Hi Gav,
There is a free Flickr APP - but I need to experiment with it and posting via the AULRO APP.. My first test was a failure.. It might be better for a mod to experiment with this - rather than me creating random threads in General Chat! Doh

Yeah, but the app doesn't support bbcode and I can't work out how to use the URL to make the pic appear - it comes up as an invalid file.
Back to the drawing board - I wouldn't have thought it would be this hard to be honest. Not very user friendly. :(
Despite Photobucket being dicks, at least it was easy to copy the code - pretty much impossible with Flickr - there are a lot of help thread in Flickr about this exact problem going back over 2 years and there is still no fix for it (or no will to have things work properly from a mobile device)
See if this works...

Well it does, but it's not easy to do - takes a couple of minutes to get it to copy, then to edit out the junk in the code when pasted.
Will look at other options, this one isn't for me I don't think.
I'm off to bed, it's been a ****ty day and this isn't helping....
Gav i just opened an account with postimage
Postimage.org — free image hosting / image upload
Haven't tried to import an image to the forum yet but its another option for you to investigate
Cheers
Dan

It's loading images but I can't create albums. It also says it's sending me a password but no password arrives. I'm not sure if I am even logged on.
One reason I stopped hot-linking photos and preferred to upload them to this (and other) site(s) is because a change in the hosting site makes all the links invalid.
I'd like to go back and replace all those earlier hot-linked images but it's not practical for several reasons, e.g., one often can't edit old posts and even finding those old posts containing images would be a monumental task (unless there is software that can do that for me).
The disadvantage of uploaded images is that they can only be seen by registered members of a forum. How often have you wanted to check something out on a forum without joining but you can't see the images? I have - quite a lot.
