Oh come on Mario, keep up. Next you'll be telling us everyone wears their caps with the peak facing forward. [wink11]
Just kidding mate, I detected the irony. [biggrin]

Almost certainly a 'Gen zzzzz'.(ie. half a sleep, when awake!!)
Us oldies grew up on a diet of Aussie shows and sitcoms; Aunty Jack, Norman Gunston, Kingswood County, Mother and Son, Hey Dad .. and so on .. so our 'elocution lessons' were learned via the good 'ol Aussie vernacular.
"dude" never really featured in our vocabulary due to a lack of exposure.
Gen zzzzz's on the other hand all learned to speak 'Merican. 'sup .. 'sappn'n ... and dude all feature prominently in US sitcoms.
I'll counter this by prefacing .
I work in retail .
Manufacturing a product we then sell to the general public .
I have met some really nice people - some are even on here ! Have also had contact with some real winners .
Unfortunatley its not generational when faceache is involved , the new threat is
"Are you on FaceAche " , " Watch Out "
No , comeback , less instant and the internet is forever - at least email will be deleted .
And i'm a fairly mellow person , but it is becoming harder to counter the "me " generations - old and young .
Well, they got my order despite the attitude.
It's a case of time and they were actually cheaper than O/S.. Funny how I was quoting their part numbers off their website too - I don't have any sprockets.
Here was the (edited) reply.
Dave,
Well, I’m an engineer...just not a mechanical engineer, but not knowing the sprocket that you have (the number means nothing to us), for us it would have been a wild guess!
The Sprockets are removable from the motor by bolt and I think they have a key that holds them in place!
I wasn’t meaning to be rude though, we have a lot of unskilled people that ask similar questions and the thought of them fumbling with power tools truly scares me!
That’s why we always push towards visiting someone that has the skills and tooling to do the job! Its nothing personal !
Cheers!
Shane
He seemed to come off his high horse as he thought I am an engineer- I never said I was [bighmmm] He is possibly a good engineer but a lousy sales guy... Notice I am Dave now?
David - Dave to my mates [smilebigeye]
You should have insisted upon henceforth being known as the 'dude-a-rini'.
From the technical questions you asked him...I would have thought it obvious that you weren't unskilled, and did indeed have some idea of what you were talking about.
