    Australia Post - well done!!

I ordered some Defender parts from British 4WD in Tassie late yesterday afternoon. Nothing unusual about that I guess, but they were siting at my local (semi rural) post office north west of Sydney at 10am today!

Even in the good old days this would have been amazing speed!!

Crikey! The Auspost blokes at Chullora have really screwed up. They should have held the parcel for a day or three (or longer).

They must be on notice as we have a complaint file against that mail distro centre in Chullora.

Well I suppose Australia Post cant be a complete total disgrace of a service bleeding the tax payers of Australia all the time (Personal opinion).

The best delivery service to date I've seen is DHL I order from the U.K on Friday, Sunday its at Perth Airport WA, Monday the big yellow van is at my address!!

Which shows that not all German companies are lying thieves like VW (Personal opinion).

have a try using Friday and see what happens.....
oh but also to Perth from UK is extremely quick and also I guess its how they process the order from where you purchase.

I've only HAD to start importing parts again as Rovacraft are doing me NO FAVOURS when it comes to price AND they seem to be holding less stock, basic service items such as D4 timing belt kits I'm waiting weeks.

    Angry

I got a text yesterday saying my parcel that I ordered last week had been delivered. Just found out that it has actually been delivered to someone else, who by sheer chance we know, about 5km down the road - and left on their letterbox out in the open .

Now the question is whether or not to report it as undelivered and get another one as payment for their stupidity.

Australia Post dont even attempt to deliver to my home address, one of the reasons we have a PO Box. They will just leave a note and we have to drive 15kms to a different post office to collect. They have refused for years to leave items at our local PO only 4 kms away which is also our general store so you can collect all weekend.

They pulled the LPO out of our General Store a couple of months back without notice. I had a PO box there, was more than a week before I found where our mail was going.
