Our deliveries of just letters normally have improved no end since, after many complaints, AusPost got rid of the postie that used to deliver to our area. I complained once and they said the idiot had got new glasses..... and that was the cause of the problem!
But now at least we know the arsehole next door isn't getting our bills.....and ditching them.

I'm still awaiting a Raspberry Pi posted 40km away from Element14 in Sydney last week. It's not in my PO Box today.

It's odd how fifty years ago the PMG had a reliable postal service that utilised old Morris and Bedford vehicles and of course the ubiquitous deadly treadly.
Australia Post have a modern, motorised fleet at their disposal yet only seem to be able to offer a hit or miss system of delivery.

Well, I'll have to withdraw my comments.

Element14 sent the parcel via Toll. My delivery address is my PO Box.

I just checked tracking and found that Toll don't deliver to PO Boxes so it's been at their Bankstown depot since 4th July.

    Hi p38arover

Against my better judgement on occasion I have requested sellers to use Startrack. I know there have been previous breads here addressing them but they are owned by Australia post and DO deliver to PO Boxes. So far I haven't had the bad experience that some here have had!!

The reason they don't deliver to Po boxes as Aus post get nothing out of it, so Auspost charges a small fee . The delivery couriers won't have the money on them to pay so will not deliver to post offices.

I spoke to Toll yesterday and they were going to ship it Monday. I checked the tracking today and they have returned it to the sender. Gaaahh.

If Element14 resend it via Toll, it won't get here until after I go away on holiday so Toll will not leave it and it will go back to the depot and then back to Element14.

Element14's website indicated the parcel would be sent via Auspost and that's why I gave my PO Box. I hope I can get through to someone who can help at Element14 (they used to be known as Farnell).

It'll be off by the time you get it, but then, isn't that your propensity?.
