All I know is that if we inadvertently uncoupled an air hose we would "Cop It" Big time from the Train driver and we were told it locked all the brakes up.Quote:
The alarm is instant, the brakes only apply as the pressure drops, that can be quite a while if there are a lot of wagons to the supply.
It is very lucky the copper didn't get run over by the train himself as he crawled under it, I think there was more panicking than thinking going on at the start.
