    hi zook

after four years we got a bit fed up of reading lre as it's much the same all the time never anything really new going on,

used to read lro for a while but couldn't afford to keep running two subscriptions don't know much about land rover world/monthly

overlander has some interesting stuff in it but like the guys said thats really a mag aimed at the retired crowd or people getting ready to retire and travel..........

4x4 monthly looks ok and we have red another which can't remeber the name 4x4 australia or some thing like that we quite like that one to.......

although we are landrover enthusiasts at heart ocasionally we do like to see what else is around

    dullbird

p.s zook i'm also a very big fan of T3 and stuff do you get those magazines in your newsagents

Hi Dullbird, buy Playboy or Hustler if you want an unbiased review on 4x4s because you are not going to get anything close to an unbiased report in any of the Australian 4by rags.

    Cheers.

We've got a reasonably good mag here in the west called Western 4WDriver. They usually have unbiased articles (they're they only mag I know that actually reports problems with Toyotas and Nissans).

It only comes out 4 times a year and is almost entirely WA biased.

if you resubsrcibe now, you get 12 issues, 6 gold label editions,2 dvds, 2 torches all for $130. And if you pay by credit card theyll throw in a free Tim Shaw blow up doll! No not really, but some of the "free" stuff you get for subscribing is useful.
