I don't subscribe to any, but I do buy them occasionally........just whichever mag has articles that interest me.

Dullbird, we do have T3 and Stuff here in Oz, but they are normally a couple of months behind the UK ones.
You can't miss them in the newsagents......they are the ones with "pretty ladies" on the front cover.

The mags are a bit of a waste of money they are full of other peoples opinions most of the time and lack the facts. Its just an advertising gimmick. You cant beet the web just like these forums or web surfing for products.

In saying that if I did buy one it would be 4x4 Monthly even though thay do talk down Landys

I right mine off on tax - I use my landy for work and these mags ensure that my work vehicle has the best SAFETY equipment available.

In my opinion there is only 1 magazine that is worth anything...

and that is Petersens 4-wheel and offroad..
It is an American (unfortunately) magazine that has articles on real modifications to 4x4's that actually get used... Not how to bolt a roofrack on and which AT tyre is the best etc. etc... but that is just me, I like to read articles on portal conversions.. truggy/buggy build-ups.. hydro 4 wheel steer etc.

The downside is it is mainl focused around Jeeps and big american trucks, but the tech articles are second to none...

4x4 Monthly is pretty good and getting less against LR. How could a mag that feature an old Troopy and a Suzuki dislike any 4x4. I am subscribed for about the next 4 years still. A lot less biased than some. Used to be 4x4 Australia religiously until they changed editor and became to supportive of politics and fee paying track closure endorsing.
Western 4whel Driver is not bad.
Would be nice if the major magazines actually foccused on 4x4s people drive not soft roaders and luxobarges. Would be nice to see some out of the ordinary destinations outside of Viv/NSW/Qld. Heaps of repeats on WA locations like the Kimbereley etc but not many out of the way articles.
